Description

This painting was inspired by Cameron Peak fire that raged out of control in northern Colorado from August through October 2020. The placid water of the River's Edge Natural area in Loveland, Colorado was punctuated by the deep orange and rust colored sky due to the heavy smoke that filled the air. Beautiful and deadly, the fire made me cherish each day more than ever.
